Jim Webb: Notre Dame’s Inaugural Distinguished Fellow

March 8, 2020

I am pleased to report that I have accepted an invitation from the University of Notre Dame to become the inaugural Distinguished Fellow at the University’s International Security Center. I have been privileged to serve as a Marine infantry officer, a military planner, an author and journalist, including covering our military overseas, an Assistant Secretary of Defense and Secretary of the Navy, and as a member of the Foreign Relations and Armed Services Committees while in the Senate. I look forward to bringing these experiences into play and maintaining a vigorous involvement with issues relating to our military, our global strategy, and the mechanics of our foreign policy.
